 Silo’ Season 2 Release Date Is Imminent As New Trailer Drops Online

When Apple TV’s Silo first dropped in 2023, it flew completely under my radar. I hadn’t heard anything about the dystopian sci-fi series, and was unfamiliar with the books by Hugh Howey upon which it is based. A number of my readers suggested it, so I fit it into my busy TV schedule and I’m glad I did. While the first season wasn’t perfect, it grew on me with every episode.

I even included the show in my list of great mysteries, because as much as this is a post-apocalyptic science-fiction series, it’s also a genuinely excellent mystery. Rebecca Ferguson stars as Juliette Nichols, a mechanic who works to keep the massive silo operational. Hundreds of people live in this underground metropolis—a 144-level silo built deep into the earth. The silo is completely self-sustaining, has its own system of government and even its own mythology.
